I am sorry but we are unable to make take out orders.  Our food is made fresh, at the moment and does not travel well and we prefer that you taste what we do at the best that we can do it.  I hope you understand.  Thank You!

WE LOVE FOOD AND WINE!

I am so thrilled to introduce our new blog for our restaurant, The Silver Fork. We have an International menu that we call a ”menu in movement”, which means that the Chef can make changes according to his inspiration, what is fresh at the market or what he finds in season. This means that I will be keeping the menu updated as well as any specials of the day. I will continue to tweek and edit this blog to give you as much information as possible.

My husband and I opened The Silver Fork in Manchester Vermont in August of 2011.  We are a small six table restaurant with five bar stools.  Our menu is International and my husband, Mark, is the Chef.  We came to Manchester after Mark’s brother called us and told us that this space had become available.  We flew out from St. Louis, took a look and decided this was for us.  We were in St. Louis for two years and before that we lived in Puerto Rico for twenty years. Mark started out working at a young age with a German Chef for five years and then went to work with Hilton International for ten years.   After that we had a restaurant in Puerto Rico for thirteen years.  I mention this because most of our guests want a little history and to know how our menu became so eclectic.  I should mention that we both love food and wine and we want to share this love with our guests.  Oh…I did already…well…it’s worth saying twice.

    Cold and White it is! I am looking forward to your visit. As far as a tree goes…we get ours at Dutton Farm just on the outskirts of town. They have trees cut but you can also walk back and choose a tree that they will cut down for you. I hope this helps.
